Brunei, 29 August 2008 - In recognition of his outstanding entrepreneur spirit, Mr. Sng Sze Hiang, CEO of TT International was one of the winners of Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA 2008) for Brunei under Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award category.

 

 

There were 166 nominations for the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA 2008) for Brunei. The Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award was limited to 15 people. Beside this category, there were Women Entrepreneur Award, Young Enterpreneur Award, Most Promising Entrepreneur Award, Special Achievement Award, Lifetime Achievement Award etc.

 

The APEA is a regional recognition programme which acknowledges outstanding entrepreneurs across Asia. It is also a platform for business leaders and leading entrepreneurs in the region to network, share intelligence and form lifetime acquaintances.

 

APEA is the first and only regional award and by winning this award, the awardees became eligible in representing their country, to join the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Forum in Hangzhou, China in May 2009. The awardees then, will meet over one thousand top business people from all over the world who are there to network and do business.

 

The inaugural award in Brunei was held on 29th August 2008 at Rizqun Hotel Bandar Seri Begawan. Royal Guest-of-Honour was Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-large, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade. Estimated 600 people attend the award presentation.
